Ethan Shurberg

I am a Ph.D. student in the Biological and Medical Informatics (BMI) Graduate Program at UCSF. I’m interested in using deep learning to elucidate fundamental mechanisms of disease, particularly in the context of regulatory genomics. Outside of research, some of the ways I spend my time are volunteering to judge local debate tournaments, climbing (both indoors and outdoors), and playing board games.
