Alexander Floren
Graduate Student
I am a PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics program at UCSF. My undergraduate degree is from UC Santa Cruz, where I studied Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. My research interests center around developing and applying machine learning models to study gene regulation and understand disease risk. Outside the lab, I love riding bikes and being outside, and I volunteer as a coach for a local high school mountain bike team.
