Xiaofan Jin, Ph.D.
Bioinformatics Fellow
I am a postdoc in Dr. Katie Pollard’s group, and I am currently studying the relationship between chromatin structure and crossover recombination in meiotic cells. I am also interested in applying bioinformatic techniques to better understand the dynamics of the gut microbiome.
I did my Ph.D. study under the supervision of Dr. Ingmar Riedel-Kruse at Stanford University, where I worked on projects related to multicellular synthetic biology and biophysics.
