My current work focuses on longitudinal analysis of the mouse microbiome with the goal of finding functional/taxonomic trajectories that differentiate healthy mice from those afflicted with inflammatory bowel disease. In general, my interests lie in the fields of machine learning, data mining, and metagenomics. I also have a fair amount of experience with natural language processing and clinical record mining.
