Shu Zhang
Graduate Student
I am a PhD student in the Biological and Medical Informatics program at UCSF, where my research interests lie broadly in understanding the role of altered genome folding in human disease. Previously, I received a BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and developed methods to detect driver rearrangements in cancer. Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading, hiking, playing badminton, and caring for my houseplants.
