Miriam Goldman
Graduate Student
I’m a 2nd year PhD student in the Biomedical Informatics program at UCSF in Katie Pollard’s lab. I’m originally from St. Louis Missouri and recently graduated from Arizona State University with a double major in Statistics and Applied Math. I’m working on how to think about population structure in the microbiome. Outside of lab I like to run, hike, and bike.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Outreach Activities
I have participated in recruitment, AI4ALL, Science Education Partnership, teaching algorithms, helping with bootcamp, mentorship of first-year students, UCGPSA (an advocacy org), and the outreach science fair.
